College Football Playoff Odds: Alabama favored to win it all 12/3/17

The field for the 2018 College Football Playoffs have been announced. Here is a look at the odds to walk away with the national title.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Alabama is actually the favorite with +220 odds. The other odds are Clemson (+240), Oklahoma (+260) and Georgia (+375).

Alabama was somewhat lucky to get into these playoffs. They were given the fourth seed over Ohio State by the playoff committee after going 11-1 during the regular season. The Tide weren’t able to win their conference. Alabama has been part of every playoff thus far.

Clemson is the top seed in these playoffs after going 12-1 and winning the ACC Championship. The Tigers will face Alabama in the Sugar Bowl semifinal on Jan. 1. These two have met in the last two playoff finals with each team grabbing a win.

Bet on the College Football Playoffs  

Oklahoma is the No. 2 seed in the playoffs after going 12-1 overall and winning the Big 12 Championship. The Sooners are making their second playoff appearance. In 2016 they lost 37-17 to Clemson in a semifinal.

Georgia is the third seed in the playoff. The Bulldogs went 12-1 this season and won the SEC Championship. The Bulldogs are making their first appearance in the College Football Playoffs.
