Josh Donaldson (calf) took batting practice at Target Field on Monday. Byron Buxton (head) also participated in some elements of Monday’s team workout. Donaldson sat out the final two games of the regular season after experiencing cramping in his right calf on Friday, but it looks like he has a good shot to be in the Twins’ starting lineup for their postseason opener Tuesday afternoon against the Astros. Astros vs. Twins Betting Prediction

Now that the schedule has turned from the regular season to the postseason, it’s time to start fading the Twins and backing the teams like the Astros that know how to get it done in the playoffs. Minnesota is an ugly 3-23 in its last 26 playoff games and is winless at 0-11 in its last 11 home playoff games. Meanwhile, the Astros are 5-0 in their last five playoff games as an underdog and have won five of their last six postseason games on the road.
