Toronto Blue Jays DFS SPIN

Marcus Semien went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and four RBI on Sunday as the Blue Jays completed a three-game sweep against the Braves with a 7-2 victory in the series finale. Semien kicked off the monster performance by putting the Blue Jays ahead for good with a two-run double to left field off Ian Anderson in the third inning. He also rocked a two-run homer to left-center field — his sixth round-tripper of the season — versus lefty reliever Sean Newcomb in the eighth inning. The 30-year-old free agent import got off to an icy start in April, but has started to heat up at the plate along with the weather in recent weeks. He’s hitting .228/.301/.416 with 12 runs scored, six homers, 14 RBI and six stolen bases across 113 plate appearances.

Oakland A’s DFS SPIN

Ramon Laureano went 2-for-5 with a home run, two runs scored, and two RBI in a 7-5 win over the Orioles on Sunday. Laureano had himself an excellent inning all around as he blasted a go-ahead two-run shot in the bottom of the frame off of Travis Lakins. In the top of the inning, the 26-year-old saved a run with an incredible leaping catch at the wall. He earlier singled in the first inning and now has a .233/.301/.456 slash with five home runs and eight steals across 113 plate appearances to start the season.

Blue Jays vs. A’s Betting Prediction

The Blue Jays are a perfect 6-0 in their last six meetings with the A’s and have won five of their last six games as an underdog. The A’s, meanwhile, are just 1-4 in their last five games versus American League East opponents and are 1-6 in their last seven home games when facing an opponent like Toronto that has a winning record.
