LINE MOVEMENT

Boston opened as a 1.5-point favorite, while the total has dropped from 205.5. The Wizards are a 3.5-point favorite at most books, but the line can be found as low as -1.5. The total is at 204 points almost everywhere, but is also available at 204.5.

PUBLIC BETTING

As of Wednesday afternoon, 66 percent of public bets have sided with the visiting Wizards. Online wager info also shows that 61 percent of bets are on the over.

INJURY TO WATCH

Wizards point guard John Wall (knee) remains out until late March. For the Celtics, Irving (knee) is out tonight and Marcus Smart (thumb) is out indefinitely. Al Horford (illness) is questionable. Jaylen Brown (brain injury) is out until late March, while Daniel Theis (knee) is expected to miss the rest of the season.

BETTING STRATEGY

The Celtics will be severely short-handed tonight, but I’m of the opinion that a team can rise to the occasion with a star player or two out for a night. The Celtics have proven they can win without Irving in the lineup. Expect a big night out of point guard Terry Rozier, who posted a triple-double in his first start this season when Irving missed a game. Boston will have the home-court advantage, where it is 23-12 straight up this season. Take the points with the hosts here.
