Game Snapshot

557 Los Angeles Clippers (-2.5) at 558 Dallas Mavericks (+2.5); o/u 216.5

9:00 p.m. ET, Friday, June 4, 2021

Venue: American Airlines Center, Dallas, TX

Los Angeles Clippers DFS Notes

Paul George hit 7-of-15 shots, three 3-pointers and 6-of-6 free throws for 23 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and three steals in Wednesday’s Game 5 105-100 loss to the Mavericks as the Clippers fell into a 2-3 hole in the series. Kawhi Leonard and Reggie Jackson (six 3-pointers) both scored 20 points as Patrick Beverley fell out of the rotation, and Marcus Morris added 16 points, seven boards and four 3-pointers, and Nicolas Batum scored 10 points with seven boards in the loss. The Clippers and Mavs have figured out how to win on the road in every game this series, but the Clippers’ backs are up against a wall as the Mavericks will look to close this thing out at home on Friday. Find a way to get in front of a television for Game 6, as it should be epic.

Dallas Mavericks DFS Notes

Luka Doncic (cervical strain) and Maxi Kleber (Achilles soreness) are both probable for Friday’s Game 6 against the Clippers. There is no universe where Luka won’t play in a closeout game against one of the most talented teams in the league, and it’s safe to assume the same for Kleber. Expect no changes to the starters for the time being.

Clippers vs. Mavericks Playoffs Prediction

The Clippers are 8-2 against the spread in their last 10 meetings with the Mavericks in Dallas, but are just 1-4 against the number in their last five meetings with the Mavs overall. The Clippers are also just 2-6 against the spread in their last eight road games and are 2-6 at the betting window in their last eight games coming off a loss. On the other side, the Mavs are 5-2 against the number in their last seven games as an underdog and are 7-3 against the spread in their last 10 games.
