The College Football Season has an exciting slate of games for Week 2 of the schedule. Here’s a look at what the Las Vegas Oddsmakers thing of this week’s games.

The featured game this weekend has No. 10 Texas playing host to No. 6 LSU on Saturday at 7:30PM ET from Austin, Texas. Oddsmakers from the MGM Mirage in Las Vegas are listing the Tigers as a slight road favorite, giving them odds of -5 at Texas. LSU opened the season with a 55-3 thrashing of Georgia Southern, covering a 27-point spread. Texas started its season with a 45-14 win over Louisiana Tech at home, covering a 19-point spread in the victory. These two teams haven’t met since 2003. LSU has a 9-7-1 record over the Longhorns.

The other featured game of the weekend has top-ranked Clemson playing host to No. 12 Texas A&M on Saturday at 3:30PM ET from Clemson, South Carolina. According to the oddsmakers from the MGM Mirage, Clemson is the clear favorite, as the Tigers are getting odds of -18 points against the Aggies. A&M opened the season with a 41-7 win over Texas State at home, covering a 33.5-point spread. Clemson started its season with a 52-14 win over Georgia Tech in ACC play. The Tigers covered the 37-point spread in the process. These two met last year at A&M and Clemson escaped with a narrow 28-26 victory.
