Colorado Rockies Fantasy Spin

Charlie Blackmon launched his third homer Wednesday in Colorado’s victory over the Nationals. Blackmon led off the fourth with a deep blast off Anibal Sanchez for his only hit of the afternoon. He also reached on a hit-by-pitch and scored on Trevor Rosenthal’s wild pitch in the eighth. The All-Star center fielder got off to an uncharacteristically sluggish start this year but he’s starting to look like his old self again, raising his average from .221 to .280 over the course of his seven-game hitting streak.

Atlanta Braves Fantasy Spin

Freddie Freeman went 3-for-4 and clubbed a two-run dinger but his team still lost to the Reds on Thursday. He smacked the bomb off left-handed reliever Zach Duke with Josh Donaldson along for the ride in the eighth inning. Freeman is once again one of the top hitters in the majors, slashing .326/.441/.500 with three homers, 15 RBI and 21 runs scored through 24 games.

MLB Betting Trends

Colorado

The under is 14-3 in Antonio Senzatela’s last 17 starts overall.

Atlanta

The over is 4-1 in Max Fried’s last five starts overall.

Prediction:

The Rockies have won six straight in Atlanta and 23 of 32 against the Braves overall. They’ve also won eight of their last 10 games and are 5-2 in their last seven games coming off a win. The Braves, meanwhile, are just 2-5 in their last seven home games. There’s too much value in Colorado tonight as an underdog.

The Pick: Colorado Rockies +154
