Game Snapshot

Los Angeles Dodgers DFS SPIN

Mookie Betts went 1-for-4 in Saturday’s matchup with the Padres. These Padres-Dodgers games certainly know drama. Mookie’s game-ending diving catch in the ninth robbed Tommy Pham of a possible game-tying RBI hit to seal the win for Los Angeles. Betts also provided some plate production: The hit was a double in the eighth inning. Betts has reached safely in nine of the ten games he’s played this season; contributing to a sparkling .920 OPS.

San Diego Padres DFS SPIN

Blake Snell was unable to get out of the first inning Tuesday in Pittsburgh, recording just two outs. Sometimes baseball doesn’t make sense. Snell entered this one having allowing just two runs while fanning 16 over 9 2/3 frames, but the feeble Pirates offense managed to chase him in the first inning. What’s worse, Snell retired the first two batters he faced before six straight reached, with the final straw being a hit by pitch which loaded the bases. The lefty didn’t look happy to be pulled (sound familiar?), but you can’t blame manager Jayce Tingler with the southpaw having thrown 38 pitches. Snell will take on the defending champion Dodgers on Sunday.

Dodgers vs. Padres Betting Prediction

The Dodgers are 35-16 in their last 51 meetings with the Padres in San Diego and 41-15 in the last 56 meetings overall. They’re also 44-12 in their last 56 games as a road favorite, are 58-17 in their last 75 games overall and are 42-13 in their last 55 road games. On the other side, the Padres are just 1-5 in their last six home games, are 0-4 in their last four games after losing the first two games of a series and have dropped five of their last six inside the division.
