MLB Predictions: Giants vs. Dodgers to Fall Under Total Again? 3/31/18

After only scoring two runs total in the first two games of this series, will the Giants and Dodgers finally break out the bats tonight at 9:10 p.m. ET?

TV: N/A, 9:10 p.m. ET

Likely Pitching Matchup: Derek Holland vs. Kenta Maeda

According to oddsmakers from online sports book YouWager, the Dodgers are -195 money line favorites to beat the Giants, who are +175 on the money line to pull off the upset. The total, meanwhile, sits at 8 runs.

The Dodgers are -195 money line favorites after opening at -210, while the Giants hit the board at +175 and that’s where their line currently lies. As for the total, it hit the board at 8.5 but has dropped to 8.

Bet Tonight’s MLB Games

As of this writing, 69% of the betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Dodgers to win on the money line. Meanwhile, 69% of the betting tickets are on the under.

I might be chasing ghosts tonight in L.A. but I do believe this game will go differently than the last two. After the under cashed easily in both of San Francisco’s 1-0 victories, I like the over tonight. The only reason Holland made the Giants’ starting rotation out of spring training is because of injuries to Madison Bumgarner and Jeff Samardzija. Granted, Holland did pitch well this spring but he was brutal last season while allowing 26 of his 31 home runs to right-handed hitters. On the other side, the Giants might struggle to get to Maeda but I see this being a 5-4 game.
