Max Pacioretty registered a goal in Sunday’s 5-1 victory against the Colorado Avalanche in Game 4. Pacioretty made it 2-1 at 1:11 of the second period, and Colorado would never take the lead or even tie, so the goal stood up as the game-winning goal. He finished with a plus-1 rating, three shots on goal and a blocked shot in 17:40 of ice time across 24 shifts. He has three goals with five points and a plus-4 rating across five postseason games, and all three goals have been of the game-winning variety. He’ll look to add to his totals in Game 5 against the Avalanche in Denver on Tuesday night.

Nathan MacKinnon failed to pick up a point in the Avs two games in Vegas this weekend. MacKinnon has scored in three of his last six games in the playoffs and while he has eight goals and 13 points in eight games, he had nine points in four games against St. Louis. He had four points in the Avalanche’s two wins in Denver but has come down to Earth since then. Colorado needs MacKinnon to get his offensive game back or they could be in real trouble against the Golden Knights in the West Division final.

Golden Knights vs. Avalanche Game 5 NHL Prediction

Meanwhile, the Aves are 12-2 in their last 14 games coming off a loss of three or more goals, are 41-14 in their last 55 games as a favorite and are 38-13 in their last 51 games as a home favorite.
