Atlanta Hawks DFS Spin

Trae Young led the Hawks to a win over the Sixers on Monday, logging 26 points, eight assists, three rebounds and a steal in 25 minutes. After failing to make any threes in the last couple of games, ‘Ice Trae’ finally knocked down a few against Philly in an easy win. He shot 9-of-19 from the floor, 3-of-7 from distance and 5-of-6 from the line. But his most impressive stat tonight was the zero turnovers because it’s the first time he’s done that this season. Young ranks 79th in 9-cat which is terrible for a guy who taken in 1st/2nd rounds in drafts. Hopefully he can build off this game and get that ranking up.

Phoenix Suns DFS Spin

Deandre Ayton hit just 4-of-10 shots and didn’t go to the line for eight points, six boards and a block in 25 minutes of Monday’s 128-107 loss to the Wizards. This isn’t what anyone was hoping for going up against Robin Lopez with Thomas Bryant’s season over (torn ACL) and this probably qualifies as Ayton’s worst game of the season. He also had just eight points on 4-of-10 shooting on Saturday against the Pacers, but at least had 14 boards and three assists in that one. He’s in a funk right now but will look to right the ship against the Hawks on Wednesday.

Hawks vs. Suns Betting Prediction

The Hawks are 7-15-1 against the spread in their last 23 games versus the Suns and are 1-3-1 against the number in their last five games in Phoenix. They’re also just 1-4 against the spread in their last five games overall and are 10-22-1 at the betting window in their last 33 games coming off a win of more than 10 points. On the other side, the Suns have covered a near-perfect nine of their last 10 games at home, are 17-5 against the spread in their last 22 games overall and are a perfect 5-0 at the betting window in their last five games coming off a loss.

NBA BETTING PREDICTION: PHOENIX SUNS -5
