Boxing odds are now live at some books for the upcoming professional boxing fight between YouTube star Jake Paul and former UFC fighter Ben Askren.

The fight was announced in late January and will be the first boxing action for Paul since he starched former NBA player Nate Robinson in the second round of an exhibition match in November.

Askren, who has a 19-2 career MMA record, will be making his professional boxing debut.

Here are the early fight details for Jake Paul vs. Ben Askren odds:

Who is the Favorite to Win Jake Paul vs Ben Askren?

Jake Paul opened as the -225 favorite…because some experience is better than none?

Paul has one officially-sanctioned fight to his record—a first-round TKO of fellow YouTube star AnEsonGib (also known of Ali Loui Al-Fakhri), before he turned Nate Robinson into a meme in November’s exhibition match.

The 24-year-old Paul has been training as a boxer for two years.

Ben Askren is a retired former UFC fighter who you might remember best for getting knocked out by a flying knee in five seconds against Jorge Masvidal. Askren actually only stopped for a cup of coffee in the UFC, with 19 of his 22 career MMA fights taking place across other promotions.

The 36-year-old has never been known as a good striker, with his fantastic wrestling leading to most of his success in Bellator and ONE FC. He retired from MMA, citing the need for hip replacement surgery and coming off consecutive losses to Masvidal and Demian Maia.

Then again, he has actually squared off against professional fighters – which is more than can be said about Paul – so it makes his odds of +175 quite surprising…even if he’s never strictly boxed before.

How to Read Boxing Odds

The most common way of betting on a boxing match is by picking the overall winner of the bout. With Paul being the favorite for this fight, his odds have the minus sign (-) in front of them at -225. This means that bettors would need to wager $225 in order to win $100. An Askren win would pay out more as he’s the underdog at +175. This means that a $100 wager would profit $175.
