Sean Manaea notched the win as he threw six shutout innings with three hits allowed, six strikeouts and one walk. Seth Brown ended the contest 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs. MLB Betting Trends

Kansas City

The Royals are 2-5 in their last seven games overall. Kansas City is 1-9 in the last 10 Sparkman starts.

Oakland

The A’s are 4-1 in the last five Roark starts. Oakland is 53-24 in its last 77 games overall.

Prediction:

Sparkman is one of the worst starting pitchers in baseball. I’ll be shocked if he has his way with the Athletics. Roark is typically solid and with the run support he is likely to get, I have no problem taking Oakland on the runline here. The A’s have plenty to play for and it’s been showing on the field.
