Anthony Cowan Jr. paced the Terrapins with 19 points on 6-of-10 shooting including 3-of-4 from 3-point range plus 4-of-5 at the free throw line. He also notched four rebounds and four assists. College Basketball Betting Trends

Maryland

The Terrapins are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 road games. Maryland is 4-1 ATS in its last five games overall.

Penn State

The Nittany Lions are 5-0-1 ATS in their last six games overall. Penn State is 0-5-1 ATS in its last six Wednesday games.

Prediction:

The Nittany Lions have won their last two home games and it would have been three in a row if they had found a way past Purdue in what ended as a 99-90 overtime loss. Maryland has won one of its last two road games, a narrow 66-65 victory at Iowa. Penn State has had its fair share of bad luck this season, but has been very competitive especially at home. There is a reason the Terrapins are only a small favorite and I think the Nittany Lions are the right bet to make on their home floor.
