Dallas Mavericks DFS Notes

Luka Doncic (cervical strain) and Maxi Kleber (Achilles soreness) are both available for Friday’s Game 6 vs. the Clippers. Clippers coach Ty Lue said his team needs to make Luka “feel more uncomfortable right from the start,” which they failed to do as he torched them for 42 points in Game 5. He’s averaging 35.0 points and 9.4 dimes in the series, and the Mavs can advance with a victory on Friday.

Los Angeles Clippers DFS Notes

Kawhi Leonard led the Clippers to a 104-97 win in Game 6 vs. Dallas, forcing a Game 7 after matching his playoff career-high of 45 points. He was a ridiculous 18-of-25 from the field and 4-of-4 from the line with six rebounds, three assists, two steals and five triples in 42 minutes. This was arguably the best game of Kawhi’s playoff career as he forces a Game 7 back on his homecourt. His highlight of the night was putting Dorian Finney-Smith on skates with some Kyrie-like ball-handling, only to top it off with a pair of monster 3-pointers in the final couple minutes. Game 7 is set for Sunday for what could be the most anticipated game of the playoffs so far.

Mavericks vs. Clippers Playoffs Prediction

The Mavericks are a perfect 4-0 against the spread in their last four games in L.A. and are 4-1 against the number in their last five games versus the Clippers overall. They’re also a perfect 5-0 against the spread in their last five games as a road underdog, are 7-2 against the number in their last nine road games and are 7-3 at the betting window in their last 10 games overall. On the other side, the Clippers are winless against the spread in their last four home games and are winless ATS in their last four games as a home favorite.
