Starlin Castro slugged a two-run homer in the 10th inning to beat the Phillies 3-1 on Thursday. He drilled a Hector Neris pitch over the left field wall with Neil Walker aboard in the top of the 10th frame. The Marlins held on to win in the bottom of the stanza. Castro went 2-for-4 in the ballgame and is now slashing .258/.314/.361 with three home runs and eight RBI on the season.

Philadelphia Phillies Fantasy Spin

Cesar Hernandez went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles in Thursday’s extra-inning loss to the Marlins. The Phillies could manage only four hits in the 10-inning game and Hernandez collected half of them. He improves his slash line to .277/.337/.415 with two home run, nine RBI, 12 runs and two stolen bases in 104 plate appearances. He’s been on a nice roll of late.
