Minnesota Twins Fantasy Spin

Taylor Rogers nailed down his third save of the season on Sunday afternoon against the Orioles. Rogers hit the first batter he faced in the bottom of the ninth inning and later gave up an RBI double to Jonathan Villar, but he was ultimately able to ice a one-run victory for the Twins. The 28-year-old left-hander also earned a save in the first half of Saturday’s doubleheader in Baltimore and may be emerging as the Twins’ preferred ninth-inning man, though manager Rocco Baldelli could continue to mix and match without super defined roles.

Houston Astros Fantasy Spin

Alex Bregman went 2-for-3 with a home run, two walks and two runs scored in a loss to the Rangers on Sunday. The balls were flying out of Arlington on Sunday, with Bregman’s solo homer off Rangers starter Shelby Miller in the sixth inning accounting for one of the seven hit between the two sides. The homer was Bregman’s fourth of the year, and his four times on base raised his overall line to .318/.432/.561. He seems to be heating up with the weather, too, as three of his homers have come in the past week.
