Polanco homers in defeat

Jake Odorizzi took the loss as he surrendered four earned runs on eight hits with two strikeouts and no walks over four innings. MLB Betting Trends

The Twins are 6-0 in their last six Friday games. Minnesota is 15-6 in its last 21 road games.

Kansas City

The Royals are 2-6 in their last eight Friday games. Kansas City is 42-20 in the last 62 home meetings.

It was a lackluster effort from the Twins last night, but against a home run-prone pitcher in Junis that they have seen plenty before I think this is a fantastic bounce back spot. Perez hasn’t been able to refind his early season form, but the Royals are without one of their best hitters in Adalberto Mondesi and I think he’ll have run support to work through any struggles. I trust Minnesota to even the series at a game apiece here.
