The 2014 NBA draft kickoffs on Thursday June 26th and this year is going to be an interesting draft due to the numerous amount of talent in the selections. Teams will have a variety of interesting players to pick from those who made an impact during the NCAA tournament. In this year’s draft lottery, surprisingly the Cleveland Cavaliers got the 1st pick once again with 1.7% chance of getting it. They have gotten the 1st pick three times in four years and have another opportunity to get a future prospect player. Though this year, there may be a possibility that the Cavs trade their top pick if the trade is good enough for them. Bodog has already posted these odds, additionally odds on the three top players in the draft likely to get pick 1st.

The future Canadian prospect from the Kansas Jayhawks, Andrew Wiggins, is most likely the player that all teams are watching out for; however will he be the 1st? Do the Cavs need him? Then again, his teammate Joel Embiidis some may also consider him one of the top 3 pick. The 7 footer shows a great amount of talent that are need from many teams. With a lack of centers in the Cleveland Cavaliers, Joel Embiidis can be an interesting selection for the Cleveland Cavaliers because the team is missing that type of player in the paint and having him on the team would be a big help for their lineup. And don’t for the the 6 foot 8 monster from Duke, Jabari Parker, as one of the top pick. What is interesting here is that the current star of the Cavs Kyrie Irving also played in at Duke giving Cleveland another player to select from.
