Philadelphia 76ers All-Star center Joel Embiid has picked up in February right where he left off in January, where he captured the NBA’s Eastern Conference Player of the month award, and his matchup against Enes Kanter and the Portland Trail Blazers should have NBA bettors giddy when it comes to his points prop bet.

Will the Sixers’ big man stay hot? We break down the matchup for that game and more with our best free NBA picks and predictions for Thursday, February 11.

NBA Picks for Today

Miami Heat vs Houston Rockets

The Miami Heat are healthy, and they are looking more and more like the team that made it to the NBA Finals last season. The Heat will go for their fourth win in a row when they visit the Houston Rockets Thursday.

The Heat are 2-point road favorites, and one of their biggest edges will be on the glass. Due to their size and injury to Christian Wood, the Rockets are one of the worst rebounding teams in the NBA, ranking 29th in rebounding percentage and dead last in opponent total rebounds per game. That could mean a big night on the boards for Bam Adebayo.

The Heat forward is averaging 9.1 rebounds per game this season and has nine or more rebounds in six of his last nine games. Adebayo should have no trouble cleaning up the glass and eclipsing his rebounding total in this one.

PREDICTION: Bam Adebayo Over 9.5 Rebounds (-110)

Orlando Magic vs Golden State Warriors

The Orlando Magic have hit quite the rough patch. Losers of six of their last seven games, and dealing with a multitude of injuries, the Magic will now face what has become a scrappy Golden State Warriors team.

The Magic were already going to be without Aaron Gordon for this matchup and now Cole Anthony (shoulder) and Evan Fournier (back) are both questionable to play. So, the question has to be asked, outside of Nikola Vucevic, who will do the scoring for the Magic?

During this ugly seven-game stretch, the Magic have topped 108 points just once – against a defensively-deficient Chicago Bulls team – and are averaging just 103.1 points per game over that stretch. On top of that, the Magic already ranked dead last in field goal percentage this season.

And while the Warriors aren’t defensive savants, they have length and have done a good job of contesting shots this season, ranking second in opponent field goal percentage. As we said, we just don’t know where the scoring will come from for the Magic in this one.

PREDICTION: Magic Under 108.5 Team Total (-110)

Philadelphia 76ers vs Portland Trail Blazers

Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers continue to look like a team on a mission this season. The Sixers have won nine of their last 11 ball games and Embiid Is coming off being named the Eastern Conference Player of the Month for January. The 76ers will look to stay hot when they visit Dame Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers Thursday night.

Embiid is picking up February right where he left off in January. The Sixers’ big man is averaging 32.3 points and 10.5 boards through the month’s first four games, and now he gets a juicy matchup against the Blazers.

Portland is one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA, ranking 28th in defensive rating and giving up the fourth-most points to opposing centers this season. With Jusuf Nurkic out until early Mach with a wrist injury, the defensive assignment will fall first on Enes Kanter. I don’t want to say the Blazers’ trying to guard Embiid with Kanter is laughable, but it certainly makes me giddy when it comes to betting Embiid’s point total prop.

PREDICTION: Joel Embiid Over 29.5 Points (-115)
