Handicapping and Wagering Tips

Learn about your teams:
Learn their strengths and weaknesses, home and road records, changes from one season to another and motivation of a team.
Note: Be aware of injuries and consider the  importance of an injured player and the value of their back up.

Best Odds:
Value on your bets, search for the best odds.
(true odds on your team).
Note: Many times teams will have a very effective public following. This can bring about an inflated point spread of no merit.

Bet with your head
Pass up a bet.
Betting the full NCAA schedule is a dicey gamble.
(Betting options are nearly every day of the year.)

Don't chase your losses.
During a losing streak, don't lose self-control and make numerous mistakes.
Do not increase your bets in an attempt to recover your losses.
Losing streaks come to an end, sorry to say, winning streaks also come to an end.

Money Management
Good money management is extremely important

Increase bets when winning with a profit

Decrease bets when losing.

Place a maximum percentage of your betting capital that will be placed on any one bet.
(No more than five percent of your wagering capital should be wagered on any one bet).

Good records
Accurate records of your wagering activity and retaining records of statistics.
