Nets vs. Thunder, 1/29/21 NBA Fantasy News & Betting Predictions

The Nets have won seven out of their last 10 games but they’ve had issues covering the spread over that span (4-6 ATS). Will Brooklyn cash for bettors tonight in Oklahoma City or are the Thunder the better play as the home dog?

Brooklyn Nets DFS Spin

James Harden hit 9-of-20 shots, five 3-pointers and 8-of-8 free throws on his way to 31 points, eight rebounds, 15 assists, two steals, a block and just three turnovers in a tough 132-128 win over the Hawks. And there it is. Hopefully this is a signal that ‘aggressive James Harden’ is back and ‘passive James Harden’ is gone. And he even led the team in shots and minutes, despite playing alongside Kyrie Irving! Kevin Durant had 32 points, five boards, two blocks and three 3-pointers, and Irving added 26 points and seven assists in the win. The Nets will look to make it four in a row on Friday at Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma City Thunder DFS Spin

Shai Gilgeous- Alexander hit 6-of-18 shots, two 3-pointers and 7-of-9 free throws for 21 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, two steals and two blocks in Wednesday’s 102-97 win over the Suns. SGA got off to a slow start this season and his free throw shooting is nothing to write home about, but he’s crushing right now and came into this one shooting almost 54 percent from the floor in January. He’s averaging 22.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 1.5 steals, 2.0 blocks and 2.5 3-pointers over his last two games, and is having a fantastic January, which is why we were so high on him coming into the season.

Nets vs. Thunder Betting Prediction

The Nets are 5-2 against he spread in their last seven meetings with the Thunder in OKC but are just 1-5 against the spread in their last six road games and are 1-5 ATS in their last six games as a favorite. On the other side, the Thunder are 38-18 at the betting window in their last 56 games as an underdog and are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games when their opponent scored 100 points or more in its previous contest.
