New York Mets Fantasy Spin

Todd Frazier had himself a day on Friday, going 2-for-4 with a pair of three-run homers to lead the Mets to an 11-4 victory over the Phillies. The six RBI tied a career-high. Amed Rosario delivered a go-ahead two-run single in the eighth before Frazier followed with his first blast. He went deep again in the ninth to effectively blow the game open. Frazier came into Friday’s action with a .168/.210/.284 batting line, so he needed a night like this one in the worst way

Philadelphia Phillies Fantasy Spin

Hitting leadoff for the second straight game, Corey Dickerson went 3-for-4 with an RBI single, a walk, and a run scored in Friday’s loss to the Mets. All three hits were singles. He drove in a run in the ninth, but the Mets were just too far ahead for the Phillies to keep the rally going. Still, Dickerson has proven to be a solid deadline acquisition for Philadelphia. He’s hitting .302 with 13 extra-base hits (including five homers), 24 RBI, and nine runs scored in 22 games with his new club.
