NASCAR betting odds for the Cup Series Championship remain very tight as we kick off the new season.

NASCAR championship odds have already changed after a wild first race, with Chase Elliott slightly taking over Kevin Harvick as the new betting favorite.

Let’s dive into the NASCAR odds for the 2021 season and check who has the best odds to win the NASCAR Cup Series.

Favorite to win 2021 NASCAR Cup Series

Elliott is at the top of the odds board as a +550 betting favorite, with Harvick and Hamlin right behind him at +600. Elliott, a Defending Cup Series champion who won five times in 2020, placed second at the season-opening Daytona 500 behind winner Michael McDowell.

Harvick placed fourth at the Daytona 500, while Hamlin came in fifth. Harvick racked up a NASCAR-leading nine victories last year but fell just short of the Round of 4 heading into the Season Finale 500. Hamlin, meanwhile, won seven races in 2020 and spent the bulk of the season in the Top 2 of the overall standings.

Behind this trio is an absolute melee, with four drivers tied at +700 odds. They include:

  • Kyle Busch, who placed 14th at the Daytona 500 and had 14 Top-5 finishes last season.
  • Martin Truex Jr., who placed 25th at the Daytona 500 and also posted 14 Top-5 finishes last season.
  • Brad Keselowski, 2020’s overall runner-up, and a four-time winner on the circuit who came in 13th at the Daytona 500.
  • Joey Logano, who finished 2020 in third place overall and came in 12th at the Daytona 500.
