San Francisco 49ers vs. Arizona Cardinals, 10/30/19 Week 9 Predictions

NFC West opponents square off on Thursday Night Football this week when the Cardinals host the unbeaten 49ers at 8:20 p.m. ET. With the total sitting at 43 points, where’s the value for bettors?

Game Snapshot

State Farm Stadium, Glendale, Arizona

Public Betting Odds

According to our NFL Public Betting Chart page, the 49ers are drawing 67% of the betting tickets ahead of Thursday night’s game.

San Francisco 49ers Fantasy Spin

49ers LT Joe Staley (leg) is doubtful for Week 9 against the Cardinals. Staley was limited in Tuesday’s walk-through practice. There aren’t many reasons to rush Staley back this week for a Thursday night game against the up-and-down Cardinals, especially with the 49ers running game dominating in recent weeks. A Week 10 return seems more realistic for the left tackle.

Arizona Cardinals Fantasy Spin

Chase Edmonds (hamstring) remained sidelined on Tuesday. Edmonds is fully expected to miss Thursday night’s game against the 49ers. With Kenyan Drake now in town, Edmonds’ standalone fantasy value will be uncertain when he’s cleared to return. It appears he could miss more than one game.

San Francisco

The under is 4-0 in the 49ers’ last four games after accumulating more than 150 yards rushing in their previous game.

Arizona

The under is 7-1 in the Cardinals’ last eight games after allowing more than 30 points in their previous game.

Thursday Night NFL Prediction

The under has cashed in four of the last five meetings between these two teams and is 4-1 in the last five meetings in Arizona. The under has also cashed in four of the Niners’ last five games overall, is 9-3 in their last 12 games played on Thursday and is 5-1 in their last six games played in October. On the other side, the under is 22-10 in the Cardinals’ last 32 home games and has cashed in five of their last seven divisional games.

NFL WEEK 9 PREDICTION: 49ers/Cardinals UNDER 43
