Golden Knights impress at home

Las Vegas earned a 6-3 home win Sunday night to grab a 2-1 lead over San Jose in the conference quarterfinals. Max Pacioretty scored on the power play with 7:44 left in the first on assists by Shea Theodore and Paul Stastny. After the Sharks trimmed it to 2-1 through one period, Stastny scored 21 seconds into the second period with assists going to Pacioretty and Stone. Another Stastny goal, this time on the power play, with 3:56 left in the second was assisted by Stone and Theodore to push the advantage to three goals. Stone scored 36 seconds into the third period to make it 5-1 on assists courtesy of Jonathan Marchessault and Stastny. Following a pair of San Jose goals, Stone completed the hat trick with 6:03 left on assists from Stastny and Theodore to complete the scoring. NHL Betting Trends

San Jose

The Sharks are 4-1 in their last five games as an underdog. San Jose is 43-19 in its last 62 Tuesday games.

Las Vegas

The Golden Knights are 6-2 in their last eight Tuesday games. Las Vegas is 6-2 in the last eight home meetings.

The Golden Knights offense is clicking on all cylinders right now and they are in front of one of the best home crowds in the NHL. It just seemed like San Jose was facing a steep uphill battle the entire tme in Game 3 and I don’t expect much to change tonight. If anything, I trust Fleury at home here far more than I trust Jones to put it all together with a stellar road performance. Give me Las Vegas as the favorites.
