Monday’s game between the Suns and Grizzlies is on track to be played, according to Duane Rankin of the Arizona Republic. The Suns’ last three games have been postponed due to contact tracing measure that left the team short of the eight players required to play. The team is scheduled to fly to Memphis on Sunday, and Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins was optimistic that the game will be played. “All I know is that everything is kind of full go right now,” Jenkins said before Memphis played Saturday against Philadelphia. “There’s some final checkmarks that need to be taken care of, obviously, for Phoenix to get back on track, but we’re all hopeful we are able to play on Monday.”

Ja Morant led the Grizzlies to a 106-104 win over Philly on Saturday, netting 17 points with six assists and a steal in 31 minutes. Fantasy managers can let out a collective sigh of relief now that Morant is back. He was sidelined for a couple weeks after spraining his ankle against the Nets on Dec. 28 and was expected to miss 3-5 weeks but returned sooner rather than later. He shot the ball well hitting 7-of-14 shots but failed to grab a rebound for the first time this season. We’ll cut him some slack though because it was his first time playing ball in a while and we’re just happy to see him back on the court.

Suns vs. Grizzlies Betting Prediction

The Suns are 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games in Memphis and failed to cover in four of the last five series meetings between these two teams. The Grizzlies, meanwhile, are a perfect 4-0 against the spread in their last four games overall, are 5-1 against the number in their last six games versus a team with a winning percentage above .600 and are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games when facing a team with a winning record.
