According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the Indians are -192 moneyline favorites. As of this writing, 72% of the betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Indians to beat the Blue Jays on the moneyline.

Toronto Blue Jays Fantasy Spin

Freddy Galvis went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer against the Indians on Friday. His fifth-inning blast off Shane Bieber was the only offense of the night for Toronto. Known more for his glove than his bat, Galvis is off to a strong start at the plate with a .320/.393/.600 batting line with two homers, one double, and five RBI through nine games. Don’t get carried away in mixed fantasy leagues, though. He is what he is at this point.

Cleveland Indians Fantasy Spin

Carlos Santana slugged a walk-off solo homer in the bottom of the ninth inning to lead the Indians to 3-2 win over the Blue Jays on Friday. The Indians’ struggles continued at the plate on Friday, as they managed just four hits, but Santana had the biggest swing of the night. After Jake Bauers flew out against Joe Biagini to lead off the frame, Santana poked an opposite-field blast to send Indians fans home happy. It was the fifth walk-off homer of his career. Santana has been the only hot bat in the Indians’ lineup so far, with a .417/.481/.583 batting line through seven games.

MLB Betting Trends

Toronto

The Blue Jays have dropped five of their last seven games against the Indians.

Cleveland

The Indians are now 9-2 in their last 11 home games versus the Blue Jays following last night’s win.

Prediction:

Bettors shouldn’t be scared off by one poor start for Carrasco, who remains one of the more underrated starters in baseball. He should rebound this afternoon at home against a Blue Jays lineup that could have been no-hit a few times already this season. Carrasco could also face a Toronto lineup without Justin Smoak, who was scratched on Friday night due to a stiff neck. The under is 13-3-1 in the Blue Jays’ last 17 games overall and is 6-0 in their last six games after scoring two runs or fewer in their previous contest. That said, I wanted to avoid Cleveland’s offense and thus, I like the Toronto team total of under 3.5 runs despite the juice being expensive.

The Pick: Toronto Blue Jays Team Total UNDER 3.5 Runs (-150)
