Victor Rask picked up three assists in Wednesday’s 8-3 rout of the Colorado Avalanche. Rask ended up with a blocked shot in 14:12 of ice time across 17 shifts while winning five of his 11 faceoff opportunities. It was his first multi-point performance since Feb. 22 in San Jose when he had a goal and two assists. He had managed two goals and just one assist across his past 19 games, so don’t go out and add him in fantasy leagues based upon just this one strong showing.

Vladimir Tarasenko notched his third goal of the season in Wednesday’s 3-1 win against the Vegas Golden Knights. Tarasenko erupted for an even-strength goal just 48 seconds into the game with helpers to Jaden Schwartz and Vince Dunn, setting the tone early. The Blues added one from Sammy Blais at 7:21 of the first, and ended up leading this one wire to wire. It’s been a slow start for Tarasenko after his return from injury, but he remains a must-have fantasy option for his potential to pick up points in bunches.

Wild vs. Blues Prediction

The favorite has cashed in four of the last five meetings between these two teams while the Wild are 13-3 in their last 16 games as a favorite. They’re also 12-5 in their last 17 games coming off a win, are 18-8 in their last 26 games overall and are 15-6 in their last 21 games playing on one day of rest. On the other side, the Blues are 1-7 in their last eight games overall, are 1-7 in their last eight games as an underdog and are 1-7 in their last eight games when facing an opponent with a winning percentage above .600.
