The Indians picked up an 11-0 win over the Tigers on Monday night and followed that up with a 2-0 win on Tuesday. The Indians have won 20 straight games, improving to 89-56 on the season and 41-29 at home. Detroit is 60-84 overall and 28-46 on the road.

Tuesday’s game saw Corey Kluber pitch a complete game shutout, allowing five hits and eight strikeouts to improve to 16-4 on the season with a 2.44 ERA. Matthew Boyd pitched well for Detroit, but took the loss by allowing one run over five innings. Francisco Lindor had a solo home run to lead the Indians in the win while Carlos Santana scored on a wild pitch. Nicholas Castellanos had two hits to lead the Tigers at the plate.

Bet on Tigers vs. Indians

The Tigers haven’t had much success against Cleveland lately. They have lost six straight meetings and have been shutout in three of them. Clevinger takes the mound this afternoon riding a scoreless streak of his own, so he should be able to add to that against this poor Detroit lineup. The Tigers don’t have the hitters to compete and their pitching isn’t anywhere near Cleveland. Look for the Indians to win by multiple runs once again.
