Atlanta Hawks vs. Houston Rockets, 2/25/19 Predictions & Odds

The Houston Rockets didn’t have the services of James Harden on Saturday night, but they still found a way to upend the Warriors in Oakland. With Harden likely back tonight versus the Hawks, will the Rockets roll as a double-digit favorite?

Our NBA Live Odds page pulls spreads and totals from multiple different online sportsbooks so you can compare betting odds to ensure you’re getting the best line.

Public Betting Trends

According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the Rockets are 10.5-point favorites to beat the Hawks. The total, meanwhile, sits at 232 points and as of this writing, 60% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Rockets to cover the point spread.

Atlanta Hawks Fantasy Spin

Taurean Prince (personal) will not play vs. Houston on Monday. It’s unclear how long Prince might be out of commission, but presumably he’s just day-to-day. DeAndre Bembry is probable and Kevin Huerter is questionable for this game, and both guys should benefit if they’re cleared to go.

Houston Rockets Fantasy Spin

James Harden (strained neck) is questionable for Monday’s game vs. the Hawks. Harden has also been dealing with an illness recently and we’re unlikely to hear more until Houston goes through shootaround. It is a home game so there won’t be a flight involved, which could help, but if Harden can’t suit up we’d expect Eric Gordon, Austin Rivers and Gerald Green to absorb most of his playing time.

NBA Betting Trends

Atlanta

The Hawks are 8-3 against the spread in their last 11 games versus the Western Conference.

Houston

The Rockets have dropped 10 of their last 12 games against the spread following a win.

Prediction

The Rockets have lacked for consistency when it comes to covering the spread but I do like them to post back-to-back ATS victories by rolling tonight. The favorite is 4-1 against the number in the last five meetings between these two teams while Houston is 6-2 against the spread in its last eight home games when playing an opponent with a road winning percentage of less than .400. The Hawks are just 1-5 against the spread in their last six games when playing a team with a winning record and are just 1-6 ATS in their last seven games following a win.

Monday NBA Prediction: Houston Rockets -10.5
