Bears vs. Packers, 11/29/20 NFL Week 12 Betting Predictions

NFC North rivals clash on Sunday Night Football this week, as the Packers host the Bears at 8:20 p.m. ET. Will Aaron Rodgers and the Pack have any issues covering as a 9.5-point home favorite?

Game Snapshot

273 Chicago Bears (+9.5) at 274 Green Bay Packers (-9.5); o/u 44.5

8:20 p.m. ET, Sunday, November 29, 2020

Venue: Lambeau Field, Green Bay, WI

Chicago Bears DFS Spin

Mitchell Trubisky will get the start Sunday night against the Packers. Nagy told reporters Trubisky is “extremely prepared” to take over at quarterback in the lifeless Chicago offense. Trubisky started the season well enough, with five touchdowns on 432 passing yards in the first couple games. He was then benched in Week 3 against Atlanta and hasn’t thrown a pass since. He’ll replace Nick Foles (hip), who is listed as doubtful, in an unenviable matchup against Green Bay’s stellar secondary. Anyone starting Trubisky in superflex formats should consider the potential for an in-game benching for Tyler Bray. Trubisky under center makes every Chicago receiver unplayable except for Allen Robinson.

Green Bay Packers DFS Spin

Aaron Rodgers completed 27-of-38 passes for 311 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception in the Packers’ Week 11 loss to the Colts. The Colts defense has played well after multiple offseason acquisitions, but Rodgers had a good shot at winning. A beautiful moon ball to Marques Valdes-Scantling and other ridiculous throws sent Green Bay to overtime, but MVS later fumbled, giving the Colts an easy game-winning overtime win. Rodgers’ QB1 status and MVP consideration is here to stay. He looked just as sharp as usual. Despite a very difficult fantasy matchup, Rodgers will be a top-10 option against the Bears next Sunday.

Bears vs. Packers Betting Prediction

The Bears are just 5-14 against the spread in their last 19 games versus the Packers while the favorite in this series has cashed in 13 of the previous 19 meetings. The Bears are also just 3-8 against the spread in their last 11 road games, are 1-4 against the number in their last five divisional games and are 3-10 ATS in their last 13 games coming off a loss. The Packers, meanwhile, are 7-0 against the spread in their last seven games coming off a loss, are 14-3 against the number in their last 17 games following an ATS loss and are 6-0 at the betting window in their last six games after allowing more than 30 points in their previous game.
