Kelvin Benjamin was carted off the field after injuring his knee at the Carolina Panthers training camp Wednesday. A MRI later in the day revealed that Benjamin suffered a torn ACL and will miss the entire season.
“The Panthers are so run-oriented offensively, but since Benjamin largely is their receiving corps we would adjust slightly for the futures,” John Lester of Bookmer.eu says. “As far as the line, it would depend on the opponent but would be zero to a half point.”
Panthers’ quarterbacks looked towards Benjamin on 26.8 percent of all pass targets with the rookie accounting for 26.3 percent of the teams receiving yards last season.
