Carmelo Anthony kept his foot on the gas with 23 points in 20 minutes vs. the Cavaliers on Friday, adding two rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and three triples. Anthony was coming off a dominant performance vs. the 76ers, scoring 17 of his 24 points in the fourth. “I’m just playing, enjoying the game, taking advantage of my opportunities,” he said. Melo has played at least 26 minutes in four of his previous five games, and when asked if the workload was wearing on the 36-year-old, Anthony shot the question down and said he was good. With the Blazers so shorthanded, those minutes aren’t going anywhere. He belongs in all lineups with at least 20 points in five out of his last six games.

Dallas Mavericks DFS Spin

Luka Doncic went absolutely bonkers in a 143-130 win over the Pelicans on Friday with a career-high 46 points (17-of-30 FGs, 7-of-9 FTs). Luka added 12 assists, eight boards, one steal, one block and five triples as the Mavericks picked up their fourth straight win. Luka became the 4th fastest player to 4,000 career points tonight behind only Michael Jordan and Shaq, and he became the first Dallas player with a 45-point, 10-assist game in franchise history. It did look like he jammed his finger at one point, but as of right now it’s no cause for concern. He’s unbelievable and his turnaround jumper tonight reminded us of a certain Dallas legend (link below).
