Boston Red Sox Fantasy Spin

Rafael Devers had a monster night at the plate Tuesday in Toronto, going 4-for-5 with two homers and six RBI in the Red Sox’s victory over the Blue Jays. Both were two-run shots, with the victims being starter Trent Thornton and reliever Joe Biagini. Devers also drove in an additional two runs with a single. The young third baseman has lifted his average from .293 all the way up to .329 by going 31-for-66 (.470) over his last 16 games. He’s now gone deep 14 times on the year.

Toronto Blue Jays Fantasy Spin

Danny Jansen went 3-for-4 with a home run and a couple RBI Tuesday in the Blue Jays’ loss to the Red Sox. The catcher doubled in the Blue Jays’ first run in the second inning before cracking a solo home run in the seventh off of Colten Brewer. Jansen has been heating up at the plate over the last week, going 9-for-21 (.429) with three homers and six RBI over his last six contests. Given the low bar at catcher, he’s worth a shot again as your second fantasy catcher.
