Blackhawks struggle against Coyotes

Chicago dropped a 4-1 decision at home Thursday night against Arizona. The Blackhawks tied it up at the 13:26 mark of the second period on a goal by Erik Gustafsson. Jonathan Toews and Alex DeBrincat assisted on the tally. The Coyotes took the lead again a couple minutes later, then proceeded to score two goals in the third period. Corey Crawford made 27 saves on 30 shots in the defeat.

Columbus doubled up visiting Philadelphia 6-3 Thursday night as Cam Atkinson scored a pair of goals to lead the way. Josh AndersonAnthony Duclair, Nick Foligno and Sonny Milano all scored a goal. Artemi Panarin dished out two assists. Sergei Bobrovsky made 32 saves on 35 shots to pick up the victory.

NHL Betting Trends

The over is 5-1 in the last six Blackhawks games overall. Chicago is 1-4 in its last five games following a home loss of three or more goals.

The home team is 6-0 in the last six meetings. Columbus is 4-0 in its last four home games versus the Blackhawks.

The home team has dominated this series and I think Columbus does what it needs to do to protect its home ice tonight. Bobrovsky can get as locked in as any goalie in the game and if he is on tonight, the Blue Jackets will be very difficult to beat.
