Chicago Cubs DFS SPIN

Kyle Hendricks cruised to an easy victory over the Brewers on Friday afternoon, allowing two runs on six hits over his six innings of work. The right-hander walked one and punched out six on the day, throwing 70 of his 92 pitches for strikes. Hendricks was staked to 10-0 lead by the end of the second inning, and all he had to do from that point was keep the train on the tracks. All the damage that he did allow came in the sixth inning on a pair of back-to-back homers by Kolten Wong and Billy McKinney. It was a nice rebound effort for Hendricks after he was torched for seven runs — and four first inning homers — in a loss to the Braves on Sunday. He’ll look to further improve upon his 5.68 ERA and 1.53 WHIP when he takes on the Braves in Atlanta on Wednesday.

Atlanta Braves DFS SPIN

Ozzie Albies went 2-for-4 on Tuesday, including an RBI double, contributing to the Braves’ win over the Cubs. Albies’ RBI double came in the fifth inning. He also doubled in the eighth inning for his second extra-base hit of the evening. In his last seven games, the 24-year-old second baseman is slashing .250/.308/.500 over 22 plate appearances, though he’s still at .187/.276/.400 in 64 total plate appearances on the season.

Cubs vs. Braves Betting Prediction

The Cubs are 0-5 in their last five games against the Braves in Atlanta and are 1-4 in their last five games in this series overall. The Cubs are also 0-4 in their last four games overall, are 1-6 in their last seven road games and are 1-6 in their last seven road games versus a right-handed starter. The Braves, meanwhile, are 6- 1in their last seven games versus National League Central opponents and are 4-1 in their last five games versus a right-handed starter.
