Los Angeles Dodgers DFS SPIN

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters after Sunday’s lopsided victory over the Brewers that Will Smith (foot) is expected to be in the starting lineup on Monday. Smith took a foul ball off of the top of his foot during Sunday’s game, but it sounds like he’s fine. The 26-year-old backstop went 2-for-6 with a double and a pair of runs scored on Sunday and is now slashing .243/.379/.486 with three homers and nine RBI in 22 games this season.

Chicago Cubs DFS SPIN

Kris Bryant went 3-for-5 with two solo homers and three RBI on Sunday in the Cubs’ extra-inning loss to the Reds. Bryant plated Ian Happ with an RBI double off righty Tyler Mahle to put the Cubs on the scoreboard in the opening frame and also walloped a solo homer to left-center field in the third inning. He also blasted his second long ball of the contest in the fifth inning. With temperatures in the upper seventies, the ball was flying in this one, as the two teams combined for an absurd 25 runs on 30 hits, including 10 home runs combined, in the extra-inning marathon. The 29-year-old slugger has gone deep four times in his last six games, and is now tied for the major league-lead with nine long balls this season. He’s put last season’s highly-publicized struggles at the plate firmly in the rearview mirror, slashing .323/.405/.708 with 21 runs scored, nine homers and 22 RBI across 111 plate appearances this season.

Dodgers vs. Cubs Betting Prediction

The over is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings between these two teams and is 5-2 in the Dodgers’ last seven games when facing an opponent from the National League Central. The over is also 8-2 in the Dodgers’ last 10 games overall and is 8-1 in their last nine games as a favorite. On the other side, the over has cashed in four of the Cubs’ last five games.
