Who is the favorite to win the Instacart 500?

Chase Elliott has the best Instacart 500 odds, entering this race as a +500 betting favorite. Elliott, the favorite to win the NASCAR Cup Series Championship, is no stranger to being in the top spot ahead of race day. The 25-year-old has the fourth-most points in the Cup Series standings but has yet to win this season, and is coming off a 13th-place finish in the Pennzoil 400. He’ll look to get back to his season-opening form, as he placed second at the Daytona 500 for his best result of the year.

Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick, and Brad Keselowski all come in at +600 odds, while Kyle Busch and Joey Logano are next up at +800.

Logano won the 2020 Instacart 500 and is coming off a ninth-place finish in his last race, while Keselowski, Busch, and Hamlin ended in the 2-3-4 spots at the Pennzoil 400.

How to bet on NASCAR

The most popular way to bet on NASCAR is by simply picking the winner of a race, which is also referred to as an outright. There are plenty of other ways to wager, including betting on whether or not a driver will finish in the Top 3 or Top 10 of a race.

Another popular betting option is head-to-head matchup betting, where sportsbooks pair up two drivers and you choose who you think will finish better in the race, which is far easier than trying to select someone to win out of a field of approximately 40 drivers.
