Buster Posey went 3-for-4 with a walk on Sunday in the Giants’ win over the Pirates. Posey’s remarkable offensive renaissance continued with his fifth three-hit performance of the 2021 campaign. He singled three times and reached base safely in four of his five plate appearances in the low-scoring affair. He’s has recorded at least one hit in 20 of 26 games this season and is making a legitimate push to finish as the top catcher in fantasy baseball. Shogo Akiyama went 3-for-4 with two RBI against the Rockies on Sunday. Akiyama drove in the first run of the game with a single off of Antonio Senzatela in the second inning that plated Eugenio Suarez from second base. The 33-year-old outfielder got a late start to the season after he began the year on the injured list with a hamstring injury. He’s best left for NL-only leagues for now with limited playing time.
