Vegas Golden Knights DFS SPIN

Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 24 shots in Friday’s 3-2 overtime loss to Montreal in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Semifinals. The Golden Knights were two minutes away from taking a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series against the Canadiens, but a critical mistake by Fleury led to Montreal tying the game. He misplayed the puck behind the net and it ended up going in front of the net for a gift goal by Josh Anderson. Anderson scored again in overtime to give Vegas a second straight loss. It wouldn’t be a surprise if Fleury got a chance to rebound in Game 4 on Sunday.

Montreal Canadiens DFS Spin

Carey Price turned aside 43 shots in a 3-2 overtime win over Vegas in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Semifinals on Friday. Price was excellent in the contest and played a big part in keeping Montreal within striking distance. He eventually helped the team earn a big comeback win to take a 2-1 lead against the Golden Knights in the best-of-seven series. Price stopped all 17 shots he faced in the first period as well as 12 of 13 in the second stanza. Montreal was outshot by a 30-8 margin over that span. The Canadiens played better in the third period and caught a lucky break when Vegas goalie Marc-Andre Fleury misplayed the puck in the final two minutes of regulation. That led to the game-tying goal by Josh Anderson. The Canadiens carried that momentum into overtime and Anderson scored again for the game winner. Montreal can push Vegas to the brink of elimination with a win in Game 4 on Sunday.
