Grizzlies vs. Warriors, 5/16/21 NBA Fantasy News & Betting Predictions

The second game of ESPN’s NBA double header on Sunday takes place in San Francisco where the Warriors are laying five points to the visiting Grizzlies at 3:30 p.m. ET. Will Golden State cover that number or is there a better option for bettors?

Game Snapshot

533 Memphis Grizzlies (+5) at 534 Golden State Warriors (-5); o/u 230

3:30 p.m. ET, Sunday, May 16, 2021

Venue: Chase Center, San Francisco, CA

Memphis Grizzlies DFS Spin

Grayson Allen (left abdominal strain) will not play in Sunday’s game against the Warriors. Allen has been sidelined for just over a week now, and the earliest that he will be able to play is the Grizzlies’ play-in tournament game. His absence means more minutes for Desmond Bane and De’Anthony Melton, with the former filling in as a starter. Melton tends to provide a little more in the way of all-around fantasy/DFS value, but don’t sleep in Bane, especially if there’s a need for 3-pointers.

Golden State Warriors DFS Spin

Draymond Green (rest) has been ruled out for Friday’s game vs. New Orleans.Juan Toscano-Anderson figures to earn heavy minutes as a starter tonight, so he could be someone to consider as a streamer or DFS target. We would expect to see Green back in action for Sunday’s season-finale vs. Memphis, though.

Grizzlies vs. Warriors Betting Prediction

The under is 19-7 in the last 26 meetings between these two teams and is 5-1 in the last six meetings in San Francisco/Oakland. The under is also 5-1 in the Grizzlies’ last six games overall and is 4-1 in their last five games coming off a win. On the other side, the under is 16-5 in the Warriors’ last 21 games versus a team with a winning record.
