The second game of ESPN’s NBA Friday night double header will take place in San Francisco when the Steph Curry-less Warriors host the Hawks at 10:00 p.m. ET. Will the Warriors cover as a 5.5-point home underdog or is there a better play on the board?

Game Snapshot

Venue: Chase Center, San Francisco, CA

Atlanta Hawks DFS Notes

Trae Young hit 11-of-24 shots, a 3-pointer and 6-of-6 free throws for 29 points, three rebounds, nine assists and a steal in Wednesday’s 110-108 loss to the Kings. Trae heated up in the fourth quarter and hit a 3-pointer from the logo (32 feet) to tie the game at 108. But he also got tracked down on what looked like an open layup and De’Aaron Fox was able to knock the ball away at the last second. The Hawks had just 1.3 seconds to get a shot up and Danilo Gallinari’s 3-pointer was off the mark. Young has been fun to watch and roster this season and he’s made his “from the logo” shot a mainstay.

Golden State Warriors DFS Notes

Andrew Wiggins was one of the few bright spots vs. the Kings on Thursday with 26 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three triples. His fantasy value has been spiking with Stephen Curry (tailbone) on the shelf, averaging 24.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 2.0 steals and 3.3 triples in his previous three games. He’s been flirting with a 30% usage rate too, making him a no-brainer in daily leagues. With Curry expected to miss at least two more games, Wiggins will try to keep it going vs. the Hawks and Bulls.

Hawks vs. Warriors Game Prediction

The under is 4-1 in the last five meetings between these two teams and is 6-2-1 in the last nine meetings in San Francisco/Oakland. The under is also 4-1 in the Hawks’ last five games as a favorite, is 5-2 in their last seven games overall and is 4-0 in their last four games when they face a team with a losing record. On the other side, the under is 5-1 in the Warriors’ last six games overall and has cashed in seven straight games when Golden State is playing on zero rest.
