Rudy Gobert hit just 2-of-7 shots and 3-of-6 free throws for seven points, 16 rebounds, one assist, and six blocks with four turnovers in a win over the Spurs on Sunday. Gobert’s six blocks were a season-high, and nearly matched the seven he posted in his first five games. It was a tie for his sixth-most ever. He swatted seven shots in four games, and eight in a game in 2017. Gobert’s status as the No. 41 ranked player in 9-cat leagues is sure to sky-rocket after a night like he had against San Antonio.

Kevin Durant (COVID-protocol) is expected to require a seven-day quarantine, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. This means that Durant will miss at least the next four games for Brooklyn, so make sure you have him on your bench in weekly settings. With KD on the sidelines, Kyrie Irving will be more likely to put up a 50-spot, Caris LeVert will get a bump in usage, Taurean Prince or Landry Shamet could get some spot-starts and Jarrett Allen should see an uptick in minutes. If Durant is cleared to play after his seven-day quarantine, it’s possible he could get back out there for next Tuesday’s game vs. Denver.

Jazz vs. Nets Betting Prediction

The Jazz are 9-3 against the spread in their last 12 meetings with the Nets and have covered in five out of their last six trips to Brooklyn. They’re also 5-1 at the betting window in their last six games versus an opponent with a losing record, while the Nets are winless against the spread in their last five games overall. Brooklyn is also 0-5 against the number in its last five games coming off a loss and is 0-6 against the spread in its last six games when playing on one day of rest.

NBA BETTING PREDICTION: UTAH JAZZ +2.5
