Las Vegas secures OT win

The Golden Knights won a 4-3 overtime thriller at home Sunday over the Senators. Jonathan Marchessault scored the game-winner unassisted midway through the extra session. Alex Tuch scored two goals in the victory for Las Vegas, while Ryan Reaves added a goal. Erik Haula dished out a pair of assists. Marc-Andre Fleury earned the win with 19 saves on 22 shots.

Predators fall at home to Oilers

Nashville lost a 5-3 decision Saturday against Edmonton to drop to 8-3-0 on the season. Filip Forsberg scored all three goals for a hat trick in the defeat. Forsberg scored his final goal on the power play with 4:06 remaining, but the Oilers put it away with an insurance goal at the 1:46 mark. Ryan Johansen dished out three assists, while P.K. NHL Betting Trends

Las Vegas

The Golden Knights are 4-0 in their last four Tuesday games. Las Vegas is 5-0 in its last five games versus the Central Division.

The Predators are 0-4 in their last four games playing on zero days of rest. Nashville is 0-4 in its last four Tuesday games.

Nashville isn’t quite the same team with Pekka Rinne out with an injury, although he is questionable tonight. If he remains out, I love Las Vegas to steal one. The Golden Knights seem to be picking up some steam and after last year’s remarkable run, it isn’t as if they forgot how to play hockey. Take a shot at an upset tonight, especially if Rinne remains out of action. The argument could also be made that even if Rinne plays, he’ll have some rust to shake off after missing a couple games.
