Boston earned a 3-0 home win over Philadelphia Thursday night to improve to 6-2-2 on the season. Zdeno Chara scored a pair of goals to pace the Bruins, while Jake DeBrusk scored the other goal. NHL Betting Trends

The over is 4-0-1 in the last five Canadiens games versus the Eastern Conference. Montreal is 0-6 in the last six meetings.

The under is 4-0 in the last four Bruins games. Boston is 4-0 in its last four games versus the Atlantic Conference.

Boston is rounding into form and starting to get more offensive help from players outside their top line. Defense and goaltending is rarely a question mark for the Bruins when healthy. While Montreal is capable of winning as an underdog in an environment like this, I prefer the way Boston is playing right now and expect it to record another win.
