The NFL trade rumors have been swirling during the young offseason and that’s launched an explosion in NFL “Next Team” odds at many sportsbooks.
The latest big-name deal making the rounds is a potential Russell Wilson trade, as the Seattle Seahawks quarterback has reportedly grown frustrated with the franchise. Wilson’s camp has pegged a handful of potential trade partners and some of those teams are near the top of the Russell Wilson Next Team odds.
Here’s a closer look at the rumors and news playing into the Wilson trade odds.

Wilson’s supposed beef with the Seahawks is reaching a point in which the star QB is handpicking his potential landing spots for the 2021 season. According to reports from The Athletic, the Miami Dolphins (+1,100), New York Jets (+1,700), New Orleans Saints (+1,000) and Las Vegas Raiders (+350) are on Wilson’s wish list.
On the back of this, Wilson’s agent told the media that Wilson isn’t demanding a trade and would like to stay in Seattle… but if they did trade him he’d like to go the Saints, Raiders, Dallas Cowboys (+1,700), or Chicago Bears – the latter of which isn’t even on the board for Wilson trade odds.
Seahawks’ QB Russell Wilson has not demanded a trade, his agent Mark Rodgers told ESPN. Wilson has told the Seahawks he wants to play in Seattle but, if a trade were considered, the only teams he would go to are the Cowboys, Saints, Raiders, Bears.

However, if you look at the odds for Wilson’s next team, bookies seem to think he’s staying put and have Seattle listed as a hefty -2,500 favorite to be his home in 2021. The Raiders are the second-overall choice due to a simple QB swap between Wilson and current Las Vegas passer Derek Carr. The Denver Broncos, who weren’t targeted by Wilson’s camp, are the third favorite landing spot at +600 odds.
If you’re looking for a value long shot to land Russ, look no further than the Carolina Panthers at +2,000 odds. Carolina has reportedly been actively pursuing Houston QB Deshaun Watson and could switch gears to Wilson if the Seahawks get serious about trading the face of the franchise.
