New Orleans Pelicans DFS Notes

Zion Williamson, who injured his left hand during the third quarter of Tuesday’s win over the Warriors, returned and finished with 23 points (8-of-17 FGs, 7-of-8 FTs), 12 rebounds, seven assists and four steals in 37 minutes. The injury that Williamson suffered wasn’t enough to keep him out of the game, which was good news for the Pelicans as he made some big free throws down the stretch. And with Brandon Ingram spraining his left ankle during the second quarter and ultimately having to leave, having a healthy Williamson is critical as the Pelicans look to keep their play-in tournament hopes alive. New Orleans doesn’t play again until Friday night in Philadelphia, so Williamson will have a little time to rest the injured hand.

Philadelphia 76ers DFS Notes

Joel Embiid needed just 25 minutes to record 35 points, 12 rebounds, two assists, one block and three turnovers in a blowout win over the Rockets on Wednesday. Embiid became the first player in 76ers’ history to record a 30/10 line in just 25 minutes of play, and he finished 10-of-17 from the floor and 14-of-16 at the stripe with a plus/minus rating of plus-nine. Ben Simmons led the starters in plus/minus at plus-14 and finished with 10 points, three rebounds, three assists and zero turnovers in 24 minutes.
