Detroit Pistons DFS Notes

Wayne Ellington was held to six points on 2-of-7 shooting Wednesday, to go with two 3-pointers, one rebound and two assists through 21 minutes in a loss to Chicago. Ellington has been in a brutal shooting funk through the month of February, connecting on just 27.9% of his shots to g with 5.8 points, 1.2 triples and not much else in 20.6 minutes a night. He’s starting in Detroit, but he’s not bringing enough to the stat sheet to warrant any attention in fantasy hoops. Josh Jackson came off the bench for eight points, eight rebounds, one assist, two steals, one block and three turnovers in 27 minutes, and he’s the Detroit two-guard you want to roster.

Memphis Grizzlies DFS Notes

Ja Morant hit 4-of-14 shots and 7-of-8 free throws for 15 points, 11 rebounds, 12 assists and a steal in Wednesday’s 122-113 win over the Thunder. This was his first triple-double of the season and third of his career, and while he didn’t shoot the ball well (he was also 0-for-3 from downtown), he put up a monster fantasy line, nonetheless. Morant hasn’t flirted with the 44-point explosion he had on opening night but he has hit double digits in scoring in 13 straight games and had 28 points on Tuesday. Make sure he’s in your lineup.

Pistons vs. Grizzlies Game Prediction

The Pistons are just 5-16 against the spread in their last 21 games against the Grizzlies, who are 4-1 against the number in their last five games as a home favorite. Memphis is also 5-2 at the betting window in its last seven games as a favorite and 7-3 against the spread in its last 10 games versus an opponent with a winning percentage below .400.
