Three of England’s most storied clubs will battle for two automatic Champions League berths as the English Premier League reaches its final matchday of the 2020-21 season.

Only one point separates third-place Chelsea (67), fourth-place Liverpool (66) and No. 5 Leicester (66) with all 20 Premier League teams in action Sunday. The top two spots are already settled – Manchester City secured the title a while back, while Manchester United are guaranteed second place – while relegation is already assured for Fulham, West Brom and Sheffield United.

Here are our top Premier League betting plays for Matchday 38.

Premier League predictions for Matchday 38

Liverpool vs Crystal Palace

All signs point to this one being a blowout, as Liverpool look to lock up a Top-4 finish in Roy Hodgson’s final game with visiting Crystal Palace. Hodgson’s troops haven’t fared well at all against his former team in recent meetings, having lost each of the previous eight head-to-head encounters while getting outscored by an 11-0 margin in the last two showdowns.

Liverpool have plenty left to play for as they look to make a return to the Champions League. Palace, on the other hand, are just finishing out the string – and not even a stirring effort to give Hodgson the W in his Crystal Palace swan song will be enough to avoid a beating at the hands of the hosts. Look for Liverpool to jump out in a big way early in this one.

PICK: Liverpool First Half -1 (+187)

Leicester City vs Tottenham

The good news for Leicester is that they’re guaranteed at least a spot in next year’s Europa League tournament entering their season finale against visiting Tottenham. Unfortunately, anything more than that is unlikely, as Leicester sits level on points but four goals back of Liverpool in the tiebreaker – and they draw a much tougher matchup against No. 7 Spurs.

With Liverpool and Chelsea both heavily favored to win their Matchday 38 fixtures, Leicester’s best bet to reach the Top-4 might be to try and make up the difference in the goals department. And while that will be nearly impossible to pull off, expect the hosts to try their darnedest – and that should mean an easy Over on the team goal total against a Spurs team playing out the string.

PICK: Leicester Over 2.5 Goals (+250)

Manchester City vs Everton

Man City have plenty at stake – but not until next weekend as they wrap up their latest championship season against Everton. The hosts are favored to win their May 29 Champions League final encounter with Chelsea, and aren’t expected to take any chances Saturday – so expect manager Pep Guardiola to roll out a starting eleven that’s heavy with bench regulars.

Everton are no slouches, entering the final week of play with a remote shot at a Top-5 spot (though they’ll more than likely finish sixth or seventh). They have six clean sheets over their previous seven away matches and would love to earn their first victory at Etihad Stadium since 2010. Look for the visitors to earn at least one point against a severely shorthanded Man City team.

PICK: Everton Win or Draw (+175)
